Asili's long soapstone trays are a beautiful sculptural, yet functional piece. Perfect storing body wash, hand-wash, and other products in the bathroom. Also make a great addition to the bedroom for storing, fragrances, jewellery and any other trinkets.
Each tray is hand-carved from raw soapstone. The skill of soapstone carving in Kisii has been passed down through generations, Asili's talented team produce each piece by hand using only hand-tools therefore each piece has its own unique characteristics and no two pieces are very exactly the same.
All products produced by Asili are made by artisan groups that are Fair Trade Certified across Uganda and Kenya. Each item is hand made, and directly supports the growth and development of artisans and their trade.
